<dc:description>In this study, we made skirts with various fabrics of differing surface's properties and performed a visual sensory test to demonstrate the influences that the surface's feature of a fabric has on the visual images of skirts.
We made 12 kinds of tight and flared skirts with 6 kinds of fabrics for the visual sensory test.
The fabric images of each skirt gave a greater influence on the evaluation of the skirts than the silhouette of each skirt did. Evaluators performed the visual sensory test of the skirts while foreseeing fee1 of the fabrics. Shiny fabrics gave flared skirts the image of “more gorgeous" with the drape of the skirt. The flared skirts made from the raised fabric gave a thick impact more than the tight skirts did.</dc:description>
