In the English classes, activities with a simulated experience of various occupations were incorporated to make students aware of their future dreams, jobs, and occupations in a cumulative manner. In order to explore the significance and value of the practices, the author conducted an interactive reflection conducted after a period of time with university students who had experienced these practices in their junior high school years. The results suggest that the practices may have contributed to the formation of a career perspective in junior high school students.
