The subjects ate a cake on a birthday, in turn they evaluated the degree of a subjective taste, the feeling hungry and a feeling of devotion at the VR seeing and hearing in Visual Analogue Scale (VAS). Furthermore, they evaluated the current mood using Profile of Mood States Second Edition (POMS® 2). \nResults: When the subjects do not see and hear VR, they presented with a positive correlation in a taste and feeling hungry (rs = 0.486, p = 0.041). However, when the subjects see and hear VR, they became unrelated to a taste and feeling hungry (rs = 0.122, p = 0.629), instead a positive correlation was found in a feeling of devotion of the VR seeing and hearing (rs = 0.485, p = 0.041). Furthermore, when the subjects see and hear VR, as for the taste, a negative correlation was thought to be negative mood of the POMS® 2.\n Conclusion: The taste is affected by feeling hungry. Whereas, the residents of the nursing facility might be affected by a taste by seeing and hearing VR which had a family celebrate it.
