purpose of this study is to compare children's learning in a setting set up by the teacher before learning and in a setting devised by the teacher or children during or after learning according to children's actual conditions and wishes, and to gain knowledge about the relationship between ingenuity in place setting and children's motivation to learn physical education.\n As a result of the practice of physical education for the first grade elementary school students, it became clear that children's ingenuity in place setting leads to an increase in their motivation to learn physical education.\n It was also found that ingenuity in place setting includes not only what to do (the content of the place) but also where to do it (the place of the
