| 内容記述 | Compared to the postwar dressmaking boom, there are not many studies on the actual state of dressmaking education in the prewar period, especially in rural areas. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to shed light on some aspects of the dressmaking situation before the war, especially in the region of Hiroshima. The basic material for this research is the Hiroshima Jogakuin Newspaper, which was first published in 1932 (Showa 7). This was issued to current students and alumni of Hiroshima Jogakuin Vocational School, Hiroshima Jogakuin High School for Women, affiliated elementary schools, and affiliated kindergartens operated by the Hiroshima Jogakuin Foundation. In conclusion, there are opportunities to see clothes themselves, and there are opportunities to wear fixed clothing such as uniforms, but making clothes such as afternoon dresses, although the design and method of making them have similarities with magazine articles and dressmaking books, is not a daily practice in dressmaking. |
