The purpose of this study is to collect basic data to promote improvement of food environment in young women. Therefore we investigated intake frequency of instant foods and their lifestyle in 1,491 female students, aged from 18 to 22 years old, who were recruited in Hiroshima Jogakuin University, and 1,114 of these were analyzed in this study. We measured height and weight of them and calculated BMI. About 30% of subjects had consumed instant foods in lunch more than once for two days, and was tendency for breakfast skippers. The reasons using instant foods in the subjects were \"easy to cook\" in 61.1%, \"cheap\" in 36.1% and more miner. The subjects who often had instant foods took cereals with adequate, but main dish and vegetables with inadequate. Moreover they were not physiologically active, and they had low consciousness about their health.
