| 内容記述 | This study aims to find factors that impact on the image of fabrics and to examine how features of fabrics' surface affect the impression of the whole fabrics. The following results were obtained through a tactile sensory test and a tactile and visual sensory test using twenty different types of fabrics. ・The factor analysis through sensory evaluations found the three factors : 'personal preference and sophisticated sense,' `suitability with formal clothes' and `feeling against temperature.’ ・While raised fabrics like velvet and fleece were more popular, hard, rough-feeling fabrics had less preference. More over, examinees seem to have set images of fabrics due to their visual experiences in daily life, such as fabric for formal clothes being expensive and fabrics like denim being casual and reasonably priced. ・Feeling against temperature on fabrics can be tested with tactile sense (no visual sense needed). ・There was a significant difference between a tactile sense test and tactile and visual sense tests for the fabric, which surface's features are difficult to be determined through tactile sense only. |
