| 内容記述 | Decreased physical activity amount in children have been reported in many countries around the world. Japan is not an exception, and “the Guidance for Physical Activities for young children” was established with the measurements to increase the physical activities throughout their lives and plays in 2012. However, target values of physical activity counts or intensity for young children determined by the guidance are not completely suitable for the nursery field. Thus, in this study, we evaluated their life rhythms, motor skills, physical activities, and childcare observations to obtain the clues for the development of efficient physical activities for young children. The results suggested that difference in their motor skills tended to be associated with differences in physical activity counts and intensity. In addition, the observation records indicated that the children with low motor skills were not able to enjoy playing or exercise positively, requiring adequate interaction of childcare persons depending upon their motor skills |
