| 内容記述 | This paper looks at issues of syllabus design and teaching methodology in an EFL sociolinguistics course. It sets out the aims for one such course in a Japanese university, and describes a hybrid teaching methodology created to meet those aims. This hybrid approach combines traditional lecture-style teacher transmission with student-centered activities. The syllabus for the course is described using specific thematic examples of course content, and the effectiveness of the course as a whole is analyzed with the help of student feedback. | |||||||||
