| 内容記述 | In the Suma Part of the “ Tale of Genji,” the references to Chinese Poems represented by the“Collection of Hakurakuten’s works” were made for the purpose of emphasizing the grief by overlapping Genji's solitary housing and melancholy due to distant separation from his hometown with his lovely country life in Suma. In addition to such sorrow of his forced move, however, Genji’s poems suggest the image of Genji who would hope to continue his relation with other people regardless of separation from his hometown by utilizing the conception and expression of traditional Japanese poems. While Genji made poems mainly with themes of natural features of the country, the relation with Chinese poems indicates, as different points from Chinese poems, his notion that the features have same mind as persons and they connect people in the hometown with himself. This is thought to be a trial to fully draw out the characteristic of Japanese poems in the tale while standing on the situation of Chinese poems. |
