| 内容記述 | In the 1960s it was presumed by many people that the widely-spreading televisions would have negative influences on printed media in the field of mass information. This prediction now has been realized only partially: Negative influences of TV on printed media can not be seen in quantitative relations. The circulation of books, newspapers and other printed media, on the contrary, show upward tendencies. In qualitative relations, however, a distinct affect of TV on printed media can be observed-namely, "image-orientated" printed materials. Printed media itself heretofore has been proved to be existent whatever the case, may be, though accompanied by some qualitative changes. As for the so called "Less read" tendency of the people, however, it is regarded as a pessimistic symtom of the traditional part of the world of information transfer. In this work shall be given discussions on the actual situation of the said "Less read" tendency and possible countermeasures to meet such a social symptom. |
